Coats for Kids Charity Event at Urban Body Laser
Now that we’ve packed away the pumpkins and turned back the clocks, the highly anticipated holiday season can officially begin. It’s no secret that December is all about giving, and while it’s easy to get wrapped up in expensive gifts to impress your loved ones, it’s important to remember that this season is also about giving to those who need it most. That’s why every year, we host our Coats for Kids charity event, and this year is no exception.
Now in its sixth year, we’re switching things up and inviting everyone to join us on Friday, December 2nd from 4-8pm. We’ll be serving complimentary wine and delicious eats, perfect to pregame before your next Holiday party! All you have to do is bring coats, toys, and/or monetary donations that will go directly to children in our community.
Coats for Kids is a United Way initiative that began in 1992 due to overwhelming requests from families who were in need of winter jackets. As our city’s real estate has reached all-time highs, many families have a difficult time affording living expenses and simply don’t have the means to purchase the clothing needed to stay warm. That’s why we host this event every year, as a simple coat can go a long way in a child’s development.

Plus the first 25 guests will receive complimentary gift bags –valued at $200!
